Bio
"I started the photography by travelling when I was a kid . Travelling around the globe or just a few meters from home with my camera, looking for a unique moment to share with my family and friends. Later, I followed a training in Brussels at the Atelier Contraste, and started to realise that photography is an art; Contraste helped me to sharpen my sight.
As a young photographer I decided then to explore the photography as an art to document my passions for travel, nature and people of our wonderland.
I feel intensely attracted by wide spaces like a desert, or the ocean with some unexpected features. When travelling around the planet, I search for the connection between solid or liquid and light, to commune with primary nature. Travelling abroad or in my native country, I like to get in touch with people of other cultures, or other social environments and capture their looks and feelings. I realised that I could create with my camera a very intimate bound with people. Bringing my camera at any occasion, I continuously try to give sense to the subject of my sight. My favourite photographers are Raymond Depardon, Nicolas Springael, Carl De Keyzer, Stephan Vanfleteren….
I hope you will enjoy YOP GALLERY and discover my travel memories. "
